In order to ensure the safety of our clients and staff, Ms. Annie’s Waxing Studio will be instituting the following requirements and protocols at our studio. Our goal is to build comfort and confidence through our daily practices.
High Risk Client: To protect our most vulnerable clients, we suggest that you are the first client of the day which is 8am.
Prepaying: In order to reduce your time in the studio and reduce your need to contact common surfaces we encourage you to purchase packages through our website or contact us by email or phone ahead of time to prepay over the phone or online.
No Symptom Zone: Preventing the spread of infectious diseases must be a top priority for Ms. Annie’s Waxing Studio to reopen. If you have any symptoms possibly related to having an infectious disease, we kindly ask that you wait until you are healthy to schedule an appointment. If you become sick between booking your appointment and arriving, please reschedule. Our cancellation policy is simple: give us a heads up, no penalty. Please understand that we reserve the right to cancel or stop your appointment if you appear to be sick. If you have been in contact with someone who has been sick within 2 weeks of your appointment, please do not come and reschedule. If you have traveled recently, we are asking that you please wait two weeks before coming to see us.
Face Protection: We ask that you wear a face mask at all times when entering the studio. We will provide disposable masks and reusable masks for a nominal fee if a client does not have one.
LIMITED Facial Waxing: as of 8/1/21, we have paused all facial waxing services.
Social Distancing: Our lobby is big enough for waiting clients to be at least 6 feet apart. Please try to arrive on time to the studio within a couple mins of your appointment. Should you arrive early or late, please give us a call for confirmation that you may enter the studio. Visual cues to help our clients and staff maintain a safe distance have been installed on the floors.
NO Guests: At this time we will only be able to allow individuals with appointments into the studio.
Cleaning, Disinfecting, and Staff Safety Protocols: Ms. Annie’s Waxing Studio has always maintained strict sanitation practices and we are now going even further for your protection. There will be 5 hand sanitizing stations: 2 in the lobby and 1in each waxing room. If for some reason you don’t feel comfortable, gloves will be provided when you walk into the studio upon request and can be discarded before you leave. We have 10 min breaks in between each appointment to wipe down all surface areas with disinfectant wipes and will clean the whole studio after each day.Maximum number of people in the studio will be limited to 10 or less. Staff is required to wear masks at all times. As always, new gloves will be used for every client and we will continue to sanitize in between sessions.
Air: We have installed a “True Hepa” air purifier in every room. While we understand that it does not protect us from infection but it will help to dilute the air. We will continue to mandate wearing masks in the studio.
